Terms

1. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all services offered by Tiny Movings, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Quotes and Agreements

Quotes are valid for 30 days and include a clear description of the services, prices (including VAT), payment terms, and the expected duration of the move.
An agreement is concluded upon written or electronic acceptance of the quote by the client.

3. Cancellation and Termination

  • Cancellation up to 30 days before the moving date: maximum 15% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellation between 14 and 7 days before the moving date: maximum 50% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellation within 7 days before the moving date: 100% of the agreed moving fee.
    Termination must be submitted in writing or electronically.

4. Payment

  • Payment must be made immediately after completion of the job, in cash or by card, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • For invoice payments, a payment term of 14 days after the invoice date applies.

  • In the event of late payment, the client is automatically in default, and collection costs may be charged.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • The client must ensure all items are properly packed in moving boxes.

  • Fragile items must be adequately protected for transport.

  • Electronic devices must be properly disconnected and secured.

  • Valuable or delicate items must be reported in writing in advance.

6. Liability

  • Tiny Movings is liable for damage to goods caused by negligence or intent.

  • Liability is limited to €45,000 per incident, with a deductible of €250 per assignment.

  • Damage must be reported in writing or electronically within two working days of the move.

7. Force Majeure

Tiny Movings is not liable for delays or damages caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as severe weather, traffic issues, government actions, or other unforeseen events.

8. Tailored Service

Tiny Movings adapts its services to the specific needs of the client through collaboration and clear communication.

9. Quality and Guarantee

Tiny Movings provides a service guarantee. Any issues will be resolved appropriately, with urgent matters addressed within 24 hours where possible.

10. Transparent Communication

Quotes include all relevant details. Clients will be kept informed throughout the moving process.

11. Innovative Solutions

Modern technologies and methods are used to ensure efficient and safe moving services.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

All agreements are subject to Dutch law. Disputes will preferably be resolved through mutual consultation. If necessary, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Tiny Movings is established.

13. Insurance and Liability

  • Tiny Movings is insured for liability risks arising from the law and these conditions.

  • Clients are advised to take out additional insurance for special items.

  • Liability is limited to the amount covered by the insurer, unless in cases of intent or gross negligence.

14. Damage Reporting and Complaints Procedure

  • Damage must be reported upon delivery or, at the latest, within two working days in writing.

  • Complaints must be submitted clearly and promptly after the issue is discovered.

15. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Tiny Movings reserves the right to amend these terms. Changes will be announced at least one month in advance via the website and by email to existing clients.

 


Additional Provisions

1. Special Items

  • Heavy Items (>100 kg): Only moved at the client’s risk, with a minimum of three movers and prior written notice.

  • Stone and Antique Items: Must be reported in advance and professionally packed.

2. Moving Lifts and Hoisting

  • Moving Lift: Window frames must be accessible and windows fully openable. Any damage is at the client’s expense.

  • Hoisting: Access to a hoisting beam must be ensured. All hoisting is at the client’s risk.

3. Electronic Devices

Electronic devices must be transported in their original packaging. If this is not possible, transport is at the client’s own risk.

4. Permits and Parking

The client is responsible for obtaining necessary permits and reserving parking space for moving vehicles and lifts. Fines or delays due to missing arrangements are the client’s responsibility.

5. Overtime and Surcharges

If the move exceeds eight hours in a single day, an overtime surcharge of 150% of the standard hourly rate will apply.

6. Liability Exclusions

  • No liability for damage to plants, aquariums, pets, stairwells, antiques, and floors unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Items not adequately packed for transport, such as loose items in boxes, are excluded from liability.

7. Amendments and Supplements

Changes or additions to these terms are only binding if agreed upon in writing.

 


Price Guidelines

Piano Moving

  • Average: €200 – €350

  • Moving lift (if applicable): €100 – €130 per hour

Grand Piano Moving

  • Starting from €350

  • Moving lift: €100 – €130 per hour

Packing Service

  • €35 – €45 per hour per packer

  • Minimum duration: 3 hours

Furniture Assembly/Disassembly Service

  • €45 – €55 per hour per technician

  • Minimum duration: 3 hours
